Form or Functionality?
We recently received some great feedback and and we have already added a link to your client information from your support tickets for our next release.
We also decided to add links to client information from invoices, timesheets, and other areas of 2ndSite to save you even more time. One concern that was apparent was how our application would look and function with so many blue links on the screen.
We ultimately decide to make our list of invoices, support tickets, and projects identical to how they are now. However, if your mouse happens to move on top of your client’s name, the text colour and mouse pointer would change to notify you that they are links.

Was this the best idea? We’ll have to hear from you to find that out. How might you have handled this situation?

We received some more feedback on this change. One of our clients suggested adding links to create invoices and tickets from your client information page. Great idea! This change will allow you to create an invoices or tickets a lot faster from other areas of 2ndSite.

“That sounds like a great new feature Daniel. Looking forward to the upgrade.
Here is another feature request. I would like to see the option to send automatic followup emails to clients that I have helped resolve a technical issue. In other words, once the support ticket has been closed, a followup email a few days later would be nice asking the client if they were happy with the work and if not, please contact me via 2ndSite.
Thanks
Wes”

Don’t forget a link to create recurring profiles.
The mouse over link is the best solution. The page will be clean and you can still link right to client information.
