I agree...run for the hills. That's what I did and...I don't regret one single day! Once your working environment is comprimised by "bad managers" your work life will eventually become a living hell. Your family is sure to feel the stress too. You deserve better and...should seek out companies who embrace innovative thinking and real team concepts as opposed to the ones who only talk about it becaue it sounds good.

Teresa -

You have to quit. Once you have someone like that throwing their weight around, you are in hell. The option is to flee.

This is a big company with over-management. One boss in particular is the queen of over-agressive, controlling, intimidating to the max, rude (in your face type), bad reputation but smart about company know how. Only friendly if your are talking about her interests and loves continuous praise for herself -seems to respond somewhat to a good compliment but cannot be compassionate to anyone else. Someone remarked recently she was the queen of all negative women in thise respect. How do you deal with this ?

I gotta say... that nails it. What a concept.... what if a company was actually ran the best way it can be ran to benefit the company instead of management?

That is what it is supposed to be. But everyone knows different (I'm mainly talking about larger companies).

It's like congress... a bunch of managers running an organization (the United States of America) but instead of focusing on what’s best for the country, all too often, if not most of the time, the focus is on politics and what is best for them personally.
