Custom Login Page Contest – September Update!
If you haven’t been following our blog, we have been running a custom login page contest since we established our forum in June. The first three forum member to reach 100 posts on our forum will receive their very own custom login page (valued at $279 USD each).
Donna
(formerly known as Slayer) is still our forum queen with 41 posts. However, Danimal

As you can see, it’s still anyone’s game. Join our forum discussions and see if you can end up at the top.

I’m trying to find the place on your site where the actual contest posting is — I see the post about the reminder but I can’t find where the place is to check out the people’s designs? Maybe it’s just that it’s not clear how it works — do you mean if you start a thread on the forum and the thread gets to 100 posts then you win? Clearly some people got it as the list is getting bigger — or maybe it was clearer in the original post (you could also link to the original post). I clicked on the contest tag hoping to find the original post and ended up on technorati instead of getting what I was expecting to find: all of the Freshbooks posts that are tagged with “contest”. So… anyway… maybe this contest isn’t about designing custom login pages… maybe it’s about forum posts and the prize is a custom login page — if that’s true then maybe the name of the contest should change to what the contest is about like New Forum Thread contest … or maybe I’m completely missing something… maybe I drank too much last night.

Hi Ben,
I think you might have just missed the link. It’s the second link in the blog post. The link, “custom login page contest”, links back to the first blog post about it.
With regards to your question on ‘if you start a thread on the forum and the thread gets to 100 posts then you win?’, No “The first three members to reach a hundred posts” simply refers to the number of posts that a forum member has made on the forum. Simply replying to any thread will count as a forum post.
If you have joined our forum already, then you may have noticed that with every post you make to the forum, the counter under your name increases.
As a helpful tip you can see the current rankings on the user list page.
, you’ll notice that no other forum member has passed the 100 post mark … yet.

Change the “Sort by” field to “No. of posts” and “Sort order” to “Descending”.
Besides me

I require more conversation…. Yeah. I think it would be the ultimate cheese if I just went ahead and double posted but most of the time when I need to post an inquiry for help or advice, it’s already there.
I hope to be top 3. Good luck to all.

Yeah — I didn’t think that second link was the first post because it says “I would just like to remind everyone about…” – the “remind” word threw me off — I think it’s probably the title that is confusing because it sounds like the contest is about creating custom login pages — so really, what I should do is continue to try to get you to clarify the name of the contest until either I hit 100 posts or you can’t take it anymore and change it. Hahaha.

I think I have a pretty good idea at who’s going to win first place, and it isn’t even going to be me!
I should have double posted.
