Gift List #2 – Make It Yourself

Since there are a whopping 74 shopping days left, I thought now would be a good time for the handy types among you to start making your loved ones’ presents. Here are some ideas:

• Operation: Thunder Table is a gift the whole family can enjoy: “a box that can dish out those punishing, chest-thumping tones, yet also function as an aesthetically pleasing coffee table”

• Not exactly Tiffany’s, but it’s the thought? SIM card earrings.

• Make your own jar labels, and some jelly or jam to go in them.

• If you’re not the DIY type but your gift recipients are, how about magazine subscriptions that will teach them how to build a head-mounted water canon, or stitch a robot?

Time-sensitive bonus links:

• If you’re quick enough, you could order a sumo suit or Stormtrooper armour in time to wear for Halloween, and then re-gift!
