I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates this

Back in Jan I posted this http://offbeatmammal.com/pt/blog/default.aspx?id=31&t=Apple-iPod-Updater-most-stupid-softwar

and then more recently I gave up on a bad thing and installed SongBird (http://blog.offbeatmammal.com/blogs/obm/archive/2006/10/25/SongBird-_2D00_-music-to-my-ears-_3A002900_.aspx)

Well, besides moving to the Mac, I am greatly annoyed to have to update iTunes every other day. I even downloaded and ran the setup twice when iTunes asked me to update! Bah.

Buy a Mac ;)

Then you just run a system update.

C'Mon everyone is doing it!

And it will bring you a little more inner peace.

Can’t they figure out how ask me if I want the upgrade, then do this in the background without bothering me?” [...]
