This is a superb tip. I've already renamed the blog for my upcoming web application. At first I had it just like you do, and now it's going to be stand alone. I even have a stand alone blog url.

This is a great idea - maintaining a product blog is not a bad idea as long as there's fresh content regularly but it's clear that this blog is more than just FreshBooks and branding on a blog is just as important as the blog itself.

Heys Mike,

I've been reading up on the FreshBooks Blog and Forum since it was up and running so the confusion of the Blog being misrepresented isn't a big deal to me. However, I can understand how someone might think that the "FreshBook's Blog" is just about FB.

I look forward to the new name and will continue to watch out for the informative articles.
