Feature Leak: Estimates
We know you have been waiting patiently for this. When you let us know you really needed a dedicated estimate tool … We listened! With the upcoming release of version 3.9 you will be able to create, send, print, and accept estimates. Once your client chooses to accept your estimate, you can generate an invoice or a recurring profile from your estimate. Here are some screen shots:

It should be out shortly. There isn’t an official release date as of yet, but all major development has been completed and we are just testing and tweaking right now. You’ll probably receive an email about the upgrade as well as release date soon.

Welcome to the FreshBooks blog. The Estimates features will be available in our coming release. In terms of release time, development has already been completed and we are currently finishing up on testing. You can probably expect it out soon. I recommend staying tuned to our blog or if you have created a system with us, you will be notified by email on when the official release date is.

I also hope you guys are working on the Currency stuff. I could really use a way to convert CAD to USD or USD to CAD, and specially for booking and taxes, keeping one currency would be nice other than two.

This is a great feature and I am excited that it will be added!
But I am still waiting on something for my extremly slow paying customers. (sometimes 5+ months) When will the software/hardware combo come out that when they recieve thier very first late notice email a hand comes out of thier monitor and bonks them on the head while thier speakers blare, “PAY UP!”
