Chris, great point. Cleaning the fans regularly will help dissipate the heat effectively, too. There are also tools like these for measuring a CPU&#039;s temperature:

Recently our company upgraded from normal CRT screens to LCD (small at 17 inch) but believe it or not, despite us having high power consumption items like servers and air conditions we managed to save power consumption by a staggering 10-11% from this upgrade itself. 

Any company considering saving on power bills must look at their CRT monitors closely, they do consume quite a lot of power.</description>
