One of my clients recently said to me in an in person meeting "Heather you really should change your slogan" I said, "really Jay, to what" he said "Helping you, not screw yourself!" I was on the floor with laughter (I am a tax advisor) Our verbal logo has always been “helping you, help yourself!”

Through experience and meeting like minded people in the industry, I've gained a better understanding that a designer isn't just making this look good, it's problem solving too. I really should build up my verbal logo to encompass the fact that "I help people communicate ideas". Or something to that effect. You know, way back in high school when I was dreaming of becoming a designer, my verbal logo would have been “I make things pretty.” but that just wouldn’t cut it now.
