Hey Mike. this is great! as an artist and entrepreuneur I can relate. I use both. what i learned most about art is clarity comes from chaos. the process is everything and the most enjoyable part. those who are only fiocused on the finished product miss out on what they are doing because the product comes from the process and the respect and enjoyment from the process. only when you truly allow the chaos to evolve and once you can be present in the chaos while enjoying it without judging it, will clarity come forth from this. the best artists dont push the creation and they listen to the process and let the dance between both help create the final product.

most "entreprenurs" who give up on their creation do so because they cant let the process be.

enjoy your process!

That is exatly what I keep saying.
I began life as a fine artist, into graphic arts to ay the bills, and when I moved into software development I realized I used the same set of skills.

Now that I'm looking more and more into the startup world, I find that a lot of the important things are the things I learned early.

However, no person is an island, so you will need collaborators and partners to actually get it done. If your lucky, they have the same vision you do, or can enhance your vision with their own to make something better.

I agree, Mike, that entrepreneurs are artists, but I also think artists can be entrepreneurs, although I see a lot of creative types shy away from learning common business practices for fear of "corrupting" their creative side.

From my point of view, the most successful businesses are also the most creative.
