The Fastest Way to Invoice Your Clients

Upcoming Workshop: Building a Web App Business on April 14

by Rayanne Langdon - February 25/2009

A few weeks ago, we announced our fearless leader, Mike McDerment, would be leading a workshop on Building a Web App Business from A to Z at Future of Web Apps in Miami.

The workshop sold out weeks in advance and we heard from some folks who wanted to be there, but couldn’t make it or didn’t get a ticket in time. We feel bad for those guys, so we decided to bring the fun home!

On Tuesday, April 14, 2009, Mike will host an intimate How to Build a Web App Business workshop at FreshBooks HQ in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Seating is limited to 50 people and the cost is $50. Refreshments will be provided.

Mike will address many of the questions you have as entrepreneurs through topics such as:

Building – your web app, your company, your team
Marketing – with and without dollars
Product management – so you know what’s right to build
Metrics – to track your progress
Financing – the who, what, when, where, why and how 5Ws of fund raising

There’s a guaranteed a spot for any out of towners (well, outside Ontario-ers) who want to attend.

Once again, the details (in short form) are:

What: How to Build a Web App Business workshop lead by FreshBooks’ CEO Mike McDerment
Where: FreshBooks HQ (2770 Dufferin St., Suite 201, Toronto, Canada)

Is there any way y’all can uSteam this, or record it and release it at a later time.

There’s no way I can make it to Toronto, but I would love to hear this.

Ahh thats a big shame. I was hoping you would post it up online. After all, it doesn’t take much to stick someone at the back of the room with a camcorder does it?

I hope you will consider some webinar’s soon…I would be very interested in watching them!

50$ is so doable and flights from Boston are only a couple hundred bucks, if only I were not already booked to travel all of April already. Please email me when the next one is scheduled.

Obama won’t sign my hall pass but I could do it online. Then my wife make great coffee so you wouldn’t have to send refreshments.

Translation: I’d love a webinar on this as well.

Just wondering, with all the comments asking for an online version, why not provide it? Using Adobe connect now and let the first 15 people sign up (this will cost you $40 for a month of use); record the session and sell copies. What are your entrepreneurial thoughts on that? ;)

Rob says:

Why not stream it via Ustream – then it doesn’t cost anything to broadcast?

I like many others, can’t make it due to location (I live in the UK) but I’d happily watch online – this is how I get to most US seminars these days.
