FreshBooks was unavailable for approximately 40 minutes earlier today due to an outage in our Dallas Fort Worth data center. You can read more about the outage here as it impacted many popular websites.

The notice says the power outage was on July 29th. It was most likely on June 29th.

You are the absolute greatest. Announcing this asap is most appreciated. But I know if it was a mistake that was caused by your own team, you would fess up to it immediately as well. That’s what I like about your company: utmost honesty, helpfulness, responsiveness, and a touch of humor.

It’s all good, some hillbilly cut the main fiber optic line here with a back hoe a couple of years ago and shut down 3 cities for 4 days.
