UK Contest: Talk about Time and Take a Trip

by John Coates  |  April 25/2012  |

We know running your own business is hard work. And it might be causing you to be putting off a much-needed getaway or maybe an attempt to try working from a more scenic location (is the Lake District, Scottish Highlands, or Snowdonia calling your name?) Whatever the reason, we can help get you there! Enter our contest to win a round trip train ticket for two within the UK!

Leave a comment below describing what you can do with the time FreshBooks saves you? We’ll choose a random winner, so tell us what you like to do when you’re not working hard for clients or on your business.

Contest Rules
  • UK-based entrants only
  • Reimbursable train ticket limit of £250
  • Deadline for submissions is 9pm BST May 1, 2012
  • Only one entry per business please

I love the fact that Freshbooks does much of the dirty work chasing up late payers.

It makes me feel that the Freshbooks “heavies” are e-knocking on doors getting my payments in.

FreshBooks means I dont have to be a cliche accounts person… you know… Computer says no!

And I can get on with what I do best, like run my business and keep clients happy!

I hate doing my accounts. Really, really hate doing my accounts. The link-up between Freshbooks and Kashoo enables me to keep this feeling of hatred down to manageable levels, freeing me up to get out and ride my bike.

    The Auto-Generate Invoices function of Freshbooks allows me to a 101 things I wouldn’t have time for otherwise; here ae just five;

    - Polish my large antique collection of chocolate thimbles
    - Take my pet tortoise for a walk round the park
    - Clean the tile grouting in my bathroom with an electric toothbrush
    - Wipe the grass in my garden with a damp cloth to keep ‘em looking fresh
    - Count the Tube trains going under my London flat and using a teacup and saucer as a guide to place them on a mini-Richter scale.

    ;)

Freshbook also frees my up to do what I really love, web development for my clients!

    Keep rocking guys,

    Barry

@Barry Does your tortoise have a name? ;)

FreshBooks quite simply gives me more time to live a life and be with my loved ones rather than doing the books.
