An easier way to access your FreshBooks account from Google Chrome

Using FreshBooks just got a little easier for Google Chrome users. Now you can add FreshBooks to your New Tab page in Chrome, giving you easy access to your FreshBooks account. Think of it as a super-charged bookmark for your FreshBooks account. You can install it in seconds by visiting the Chrome Web Store and clicking the ‘Add to Chrome’ button.

If you’re not familiar with Google Chrome, it’s a popular web browser from Google. The Chrome Web Store lets you install applications that give you quick access to services like FreshBooks whenever you open up a new tab.

To install the app, visit the Chrome Web Store and click on the ‘Add to Chrome’ button. Simple as that!

The next time you open up your New Tab page in Chrome, you’ll see the FreshBooks icon on your Apps page. Just click on the icon, and you’ll be directed to your account page, no setup required! If you have multiple accounts, you’ll be taken to a list of your accounts and can select which account you want to log into. If you don’t have an active FreshBooks session, you will still be required to login to your FreshBooks account.

This app & blog post is about as exciting as my comment!

    Thanks everyone for your feedback!

Zu and Adam, you’re right this is very similar to a bookmark with a little bit of magic to it. For Chrome users, this is the best way of adding FreshBooks to your “New Tab” page with no setup.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Works like it should. Added convenience. Thanks!

Now if we could see your green leaf favicon in our open Freshbooks tabs, that would be awesome too!

Seems like a great new addition!

Been a FreshBooks user for over 1 year now, great product.
Came across a web application for collaboration and storage of accounting documents, LedgerDocs, and it works great with FreshBooks.

thought to mention it and have put the URL below for anyone that was interested.
