Now FreshBooks is looking for a CTO to realize our goals - be it technical like a hairy refactoring of code, in aid of acquiring more customers by building online tools or deploying internal systems to improve marketing efficiency, or simply delivering internal systems the make our whole organization more productive day to day. Our team is well managed, brilliant, and growing. We have a process that works well, though we're always looking to improve.
FreshBooks is seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to internalize business goals, and lead our team to love the pursuit and achievement of those goals. We need a seasoned leader who's on top of recent technology, who knows the LAMP stack inside and out, and who has architected and refactored massive online applications, leading their teams in long-term efforts that paid off with positive business results.
This role at FreshBooks will require potent mentorship skills and the ability to guide and foster teams of 40-60 in their technical decision-making providing a model of disciplined codemanship. Strong opinions on proper development process, performance management and hiring are definitely sought for this position. FreshBooks already has an experienced team of software developers working on our products, and we're now looking to find that inspirational leader to help raise the team to the next level.
