The Creative Director will lead our design team, take our brand to new levels, have us deliver outstanding executions in our flurry of application, web and advertising initiatives — with everything coming together to continue to position FreshBooks as a leader.

Our brand depends on the total user experience, so it’s vital that branding, web, advertising, interface design and information architecture all combine to deliver seamless and compelling value.

You'll be working daily with stakeholders to understand user needs and strategic direction, and taking those to the design team for concept development and implementation. You'll present solutions, manage workflow and generally get great stuff done.

We NEED you to have:

• An iron-clad pedigree of leading teams and organizations through application, web, advertising and interface design projects with outstanding results and consistency
• The innate ability to capture the essence of all communications requirements with both developers and marketers and turn those into bang-on executions
• An army of passionate designers that have been inspired and taken to new heights through your leadership and coaching and clients that sing your praise for your genius, class and value of relationships
• A solid portfolio of usability-focused experience design that reflects a relentless drive to understand how users interact with the product, and how to adapt the design based on that interaction
• Breezy competence with the latest interface development tools, languages and libraries
• A uncompromising passion to deliver excellence in a friendly but fast paced environment
