Senior Product Manager

FreshBooks is the leader in online invoicing and it’s our intention to continue to lead. We are looking for a Senior/Seasoned Product Manager who understands the SaaS marketplace and has proven their ability to develop and continue to advance leading products.

As part of the core group responsible for the success of the business, you’ll lead our product activity and direction so that it lines up and delivers on in-year and future growth plans.

You are comfortable in a leadership position as well as owning the product, the plans and the process to make it happen – all in a very fast paced environment with a company that demands excellence and a tolerance for lots and lots of cake.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Planning: developing and leading the product road map to line up to company goals and priorities
• Operations: leading the smooth and expert development and implementation of all product executions across all functional groups to meet or exceed expectations
• Translation: you are an expert at translating business objectives into actionable product specs and requirements
• Product Intelligence: using both customer input and detailed data analysis you know our product inside and out, what customers like and don’t like and how it performs across all key performance areas
• Market Intelligence: you are passionate about SaaS businesses and your curiosity drives you to envision where FreshBooks needs to go next
• Decision Making: you’re skilled in collecting input from all areas and driving to decision making based on those inputs using solid thinking and intuition
• Team Player: you thrive being part of a team who’s goal is to achieve and deliver outstanding results
• Leadership: you understand how to drive a product that is in a leadership position and get that looking at what “other-guys” are doing doesn’t cut it

What you must have:

• You must be a senior and experienced Product Manager with a proven track record of driving product growth from a leadership brand
• You must also be super skilled at developing requirements and roadmaps vs just implementing them
• You must have a vision of how to develop products in the SaaS space and the passion to drive that vision and knowledge further
• You must have the ability to deliver on all the key responsibilities without hesitation
