Senior Mobile Developer

FreshBooks needs an experienced Mobile developer to help us deliver mobile applications to our customers. We have a fantastic business and a quick-growing customer base, but more and more of those customers need mobile access to FreshBooks' services.

We recognize that getting into mobile development carries many risks and requires serious investment, and you are our first step in that effort. The right person in this role will enable us to build out a successful mobile team, and to deliver awesome mobile services to all our customers. Below is a list of the objectives we expect you to achieve:

Major Objectives:

• Build a team to handle mobile development in 6 months
  • execute on features and bug fixes
  • determine other mobile platforms to support
  • write job descriptions and hire the team
• Set up a full dev and deployment infrastructure for iOS in 3 months
  • supervise transition of third-party code to internal repository
  • run automated tests on every checkin
  • manage deployment into App Store
• By end of 2012, deliver a steady flow of mobile services
  • set up an automated deployment workflow
  • deploy at least weekly on all platforms
