With an online services like FreshBooks, not only can you sign in from anywhere and see everything — but your clients can, too! Invoice history, project details, even online payments. It’s all accessible from one place.
That said, you may not want them to see everything. That’s why FreshBooks lets you choose which tabs your clients can see.
Picking your clients’ tabs
- Go to the Settings area in your FreshBooks system, using the link depicted below. (You’ll need to be signed in as the account administrator to do this.)

- Now you’ll need to navigate to Your Client Tabs to see the appropriate set of options.

- Here’s where you can make your selections! Simply select the tabs you want your clients to see, uncheck the boxes for the ones you don’t want shown, and when you’re done press Save. The tabs will light up or grey out based on your selections, like shown.

- And that’s it! Your clients will now only see the tabs you’ve given them access to — and even then, only if there’s relevant information to be displayed, like an existing invoice or estimate.
