Branding your system is a key part of your client’s experience when they receive invoices via FreshBooks. One of the fastest and easiest ways to do this is to upload your company’s logo to your FreshBooks system.
Where is my logo displayed?
There are three different places we’ll show your logo — just keep in mind we do require three separate logo files for this.
- At the top of every page in FreshBooks, including your login page:

You can use a PNG with alpha transparency here. If you don’t know what this means, don’t worry about it. - On your invoices:

This shows up on your on-screen, printed and PDF invoices. - On your ground mail invoices:

You can use full 300 DPI art for this logo. It’s best to keep it black-and-white.
How do I upload my logo?
It’s easy to upload your logo. Just keep in mind you’ll actually want to get it into a few different formats to use it in all the different places FreshBooks offers.
Follow these simple steps:
- Choose the Settings link at the top-right corner of your FreshBooks system. (You’ll need to be logged in as the account administrator to get there.)

- Under Step 2 of the navigation on this page, choose Upload Logos.

- You’ll see the three different types of logo you can upload to FreshBooks, along with the correct specifications for each. Underneath the one you’d like to upload first, choose Browse to find the file on your computer.

- Go ahead and repeat for each of the logos you’d like to upload.
- Once you’re done, press Save.
- If you see a success message but don’t see your logos, hold Shift and refresh your browser. They should appear just fine.
That’s it! Your clients can now enjoy a fully branded FreshBooks experience.
