Additional Information

Type of Invoice: Click the blue "Detailed with Notes" link to create an invoice that includes notes about the hours logged in the project.  Clicking on your blue "Detailed" link will generate an invoice broken down by hours spent on the project by each staff member.  The "Task Summary" type will yield an invoice broken down by hours spent on each task.  Finally, the "Single Line" invoice will have only one line for the total cost of the project.

Billable Hours: The hours displayed are only ones that were logged in the date range specified just above the list of hours (by default, the range is the current month).  You can change that range by clicking on your blue "Edit Dates" link located just to the right of these dates.

Billable Tasks: You can make a task billable by clicking on your white "List of tasks" link at the top of your page, clicking the blue name of task link, then selecting the radio button next to the label "Billable".

PO Number: You can optionally enter a PO number on the right side for your records.

Taxes: If you want to use taxes for your item, you need to define taxes.  See the Invoice Preferences section for details.

Notifying the Client: If you choose not to notify the client, they will not be able to see the invoice when they log in until you notify them.  Please see the Notifying the Client section for details.
