PayPal


To set up your system to use the PayPal plugin:

  1. Navigate to your payment plugins page:
    1. Click your white "Settings" link at the top right of your page.
    2. Click your blue "Payment plugins" link located under the "Step 7" heading.
  2. Enable the PayPal plugin:
    1. Scroll down to the PayPal logo.
    2. Enter your email address.
    3. Check your checkbox labelled "Enabled".
    4. Click your Save button at the bottom of your page.
  3. Configure your PayPal account:
    1. Make sure auto-return is set to off.
    2. Make sure your clients are aware to press the continue button after they are finished paying to return to their invoices page.
  4. To ensure everything is setup correctly, complete a successful PayPal payment before you send any invoices to your clients:
    1. Create a client account that you can use for testing.
    2. Create an invoice with a small amount.
    3. Click your "Invoice" tab, select your test invoice from your list of invoices, then click your "PAY" link located above your list of invoices.
    4. Click the PayPal Payments button.
    5. Follow the PayPal payment process using a different PayPal account or a different credit card number than the one that is stored in your PayPal account (this is necessary because PayPal does not allow you to send money to yourself).
    6. Check your payment history area by clicking on your "Invoices" tab then clicking your white "Payment history" link located near the top of your page.
