FreshBooks is pleased to announce the upcoming release of
Version 3.8 with Report Cards. You may experience a short
window of downtime between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM EST on
Tuesday April 17, 2007.

REPORT CARDS

The much anticipated quarterly statistics on your business and
how you measure up with similar businesses in your industry and

VERSION 3.8 NEW FEATURES
=======================================================

Version 3.8 will allow you to:

>> FILTER TIMESHEET DETAILS BY PROJECT AND CLIENT
Enhancements to the timesheet details report allows you to get
all the information you need for a particular project or client.

>> INSERT ITEMS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INVOICE
If you have long invoices with a lot of items, you will love
this feature which allows you to add an item that you may have
forgotten in the middle of an invoice. Everything is updated
as you click with no page loads, so it will not slow you down.

>> EASILY ADD STAFF TO PROJECTS
Now when you add a new staff member to your team, you can
easily add them to any or all existing projects.

WHAT ELSE IS COMING?
=======================================================

Here is what is coming soon to your FreshBooks service:

Quotes and estimates - the ability to send your customer an
estimate of work is something almost everyone seems to want.

Future revenue - a report on all your future recurring revenue
will be great.

Account statements - a statement showing all money owing and
paid for a client will be useful for many service providers.

The team at FreshBooks is always open to new ideas and everyone
enjoys the feedback and suggestions that you provide from our
feedback form, our forum, blog comments, over the phone, and
via support emails. We are constantly trying to balance the
new FreshBooks features between what our customers want and
need and what makes the application easier to use.

We hear you and we are working hard to improve FreshBooks for
everyone. Thanks in part to Ben (see below) we expect you will
see more of your ongoing requests released over the coming
months.

A NEW TEAM MEMBER
=======================================================

Last week the FreshBooks team got a big boost with the addition
of Ben Vinegar. Ben comes to us as a University of Toronto computer
science graduate and has some great experience working
with Epson Canada and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
He also maintains an active blog.

Ben joins our web developer team as well as support. If you want

FRESH THINKING

Last month, the FreshBooks blog was renamed to Fresh Thinking to
better describe what it is about. Fresh Thinking is a blog about
our thoughts on entrepreneurship, teamwork, small business value,
our services, the web and anything else that we are inspired by.

FreshBooks is scheduled to be upgraded next Tuesday,
April 17, 2007 between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM EDT. You may
experience intermittent downtime during this time period.

Once released, complete details concerning new features and
changes with Version 3.8 will be available when you click on
the blue 3.8 link at the bottom of your FreshBooks system.
