FreshBooks is pleased to announce the upcoming release of
Version 4.1 with some updates mostly behind the scenes. We
are upgrading our infrastructure, so you may experience a longer
than normal period of downtime between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM EDT
this Wednesday October 24, 2007.

VERSION 4.1 - FRESHBOOKS GETS A TUNE-UP
=======================================================
The FreshBooks team has been working the last few months at
improving the backend architecture of FreshBooks. We are also
upgrading our infrastructure, and we are releasing it together
as Version 4.1. You will notice some new features and small
tweaks, but the most noticeable changes will be part of the next
version (Version 4.2) scheduled to be released before the end
of this year.

YOUR Q3 REPORT CARD HAS ARRIVED
=======================================================
If you haven't seen it already, your Q3 FreshBooks quarterly
business benchmarks report card is now available for your
reading enjoyment. If you have been a FreshBooks user for more
than three months, you will see your report card and how you
measure up with other businesses in your industry. If you
don't see that data, hang in there until next quarter and you
will be delighted. To view your report card, click the green
image on the right of your Home -> Account Info screen.

ADDITIONS TO THE FRESHBOOKS API
=======================================================
Good news - part of what is included in this release is the
ability to add and edit estimates with the FreshBooks API. If
you haven't had a chance to look over the new API, you can find
all sorts of information and help in the developers blog on our
website.

SENDING YOU TO THE SEED CONFERENCE
=======================================================
FreshBooks wants to send someone to the SEED conference. Mike
is going to the entrepreneurial conference put on by the good
folks at Coudal Partners and 37 Signals (makers of Basecamp,
Backpack and others), and he doesn't want to go alone. As a
result, he bought an extra ticket and the person who sends us
their best story about customer service will get a complimentary

WELCOMING JUSTIN TO THE TEAM

The team at FreshBooks continues to grow and the latest edition
is a fellow named Justin. Justin is very serious about software
design and we're seriously stoked to have him on board. You can

FRESHBOOKS AT SXSW - BEN IS IN
=======================================================
Thanks to everyone who voted for the Ben, Sunir and Mike's
panels slated for the up-coming SXSW interactive conference in
Austin, Texas. Good news, Ben Vinegar's panel on API's has been
accepted, so he'll be heading there in March. We have yet to
hear the word on Mike and Sunir's panel, but let's hope they get
in too!
