FreshBooks Supper Club
They say good things come in three, and well this is the third FreshBooks Supper Club so I will let you draw your own conclusions as to where I am going with this!
What does this supper club have in store for you?
Well, Lots. But before we do please remember that the most important things you should know about the supper club, is that you can always reply to me directly (saul@freshbooks.com) and fire up a conversation about whatever’s on your mind – please don’t be shy!

News and Stuff from inside the FB walls
--> RoadBurn The FreshBooks Roadburn trip may be over but that doesn’t mean the adventure has to stop. For those not familiar with RoadBurn I should fill you in. Mike, Sunir and Myself just got back from spending 2 weeks in an RV driving from Miami Beach, Florida to Austin, Texas. Along the way we had Lunch, Dinner and some breakfasts with as many customers as we could with the goal of getting to know them and say “Thanks” for using FreshBooks. We shot a lot of video of our trip (and of our time at SXSWi) and conducted a lot of customer and Interweb Idol interviews so stay tuned for more information on where you can see them!
Remember when I mentioned that we shot a bunch of video along our trip? (I hope you remember…it has only been one paragraph since I told you) Well if you check out the official ROADBURN site you can enjoy a few of the videos already posted. Waiting for you are the trip to the Burt Reynolds Museum, Picking up the RV (Miami Vice Style) and a few others. Go and critique our ability, or lack there of, to not laugh at the littlest funny thing.

--> New Features It seems like our development team never rests. They do (so don’t go calling the Labour Board) but it would be easy to see why it would seem like they didn’t. Most of you should have noticed this already but a few weeks ago we fired up FreshBooks version 4.3. This version includes a bunch of new tools like Expense Tracking (found in your tabs) and the ability to create .pdf invoices. These two features where 2 of the 3 most asked for features by our customers... and if you are wondering what was the third…well just look below.
--> Fidgety for a Widget ? One feature we get asked all the time about is a time tracking widget for MAC users. Well since our goals are to have the greatest service in the world and to have all our customers universally love us we have taken your request to heart and come up with something we are calling (OK I am calling) the “FreshBooks Time Tracking Widget for FreshBooks Customers using Apple as their Computer of Choice”. It is snappy and just rolls off the tongue.

Keep checking the Freshbooks Blog as its going to be rolled out any day now. And for Windows users, don't fret a Yahoo version is already well under development as well.

Fresh Faces: Joe Scarpa
My name is Joe Scarpa and I’m the founder and “chief healer” at Mac House Calls, an Apple-certified computer services company.
About two years ago I made my first attempt at automating our invoicing process. I devised a system that ran on Palm OS based on a package from an upstate software company.
Overall it was pretty slick; our consultants used the software on their Palm Treo handhelds to create invoices and time slips, complete with job notes. Through a custom interface, the information from the Treos was imported into our accounting system, MYOB. It was really easy to create invoices on a Treo; just a few clicks did the trick.

--> Cinco de Moustache: a feast for the senses
Another year, another day of celebration: last Wednesday we celebrated another glorious Cinco de Moustache here at FreshBooks.
Yes, this post is even later than last year’s, but we had to wait for the statutes of limitation to run out.
We were fortunate enough to have thrice as much moustache as ‘07. Take a look at the contributions that made this year such a smashing success:

Left to right: Taavi, sporting a classic mouthbrow; Alistair, from his live showercam; and me, straight from the cab of my 18-wheeler.
