There’s also a cafe on site should your event need any impromptu catering.
The alternate space is St. Pancras, a lofty space with a cool restaurant attached called the Swimming Pool Café – it serves fresh gourmet meals daily. Good to know: Wallacespace has a unique program they call “brand immersion”, whereby the space is transformed to look and feel like exactly as you want, complete with details like branded napkins, signage, even flooring and furniture can be branded, right down to the last tapestry, banner and fork.
#2. White Chapel Gallery
Inside the White Chapel Gallery nests The Clore Creative Studio. A beautiful, spacious and flexible space in the Education Tower of the expanded building. The floor to ceiling windows in this penthouse studio open up to a private balcony and clear views of the Gherkin and the London skyline. The room features sliding walls ideal for workshop breakout sessions or sophisticated dinner parties.
3. The London Dungeon
Next up, for those “out of the box” affairs, The London Dungeon is an ideal destination. Set deep in the heart of historic London, beneath the arches of London Bridge, the Dungeon has been voted one of the top venues by readers of Event magazine.
4. Kew Palace
Recreated as it may have looked during the time of George III, Kew Palace is a perfect venue for an intimate group of friends, colleagues or special guests. After dinner in the King’s Dining Room, your group can enjoy a private tour of the house.
# 5. HMS Belfast
Imagine showing up to a meeting on this. Permanently moored between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, the HMS Belfast was saved as a unique reminder of Britain’s Naval Heritage. The vessel, which served throughout the Second World War, houses space ideal for workshops, small conferences and meetings.
#6. Churchill War Rooms
Some days running a business can feel like a battle, the Churchill War Rooms make for a conversational event spot. In the heart of Westminster, where Winston Churchill and his War Cabinet led Britain and her allies to victory during the Second World War, his once secret underground wartime bunker is the perfect place to hunker down and get some work done. Serious work.
