International Women’s Day 2017: Don’t Miss Out on the Documentary Screening of “Dream, Girl”

March 8, 2017

Calling all female leaders in Cambridge, MA, New York City and Chicago! In celebration of International Women’s Day 2017, join us for the screening of Dream, Girl—a documentary created by feminist-turned-filmmaker Erin Bagwell.

For Erin, her vision for Dream, Girl was simple:

“Tell the stories of amazing entrepreneurs to inspire the next generation of leaders.”

Since its release, the documentary has been hand-picked to join Oprah’s SuperSoul 100 list, and was even screened at the White House. To support the movement, the FreshBooks team is on the road to bring you the exclusive screening of Dream, Girl, and the opportunity to connect with other female entrepreneurs. The first stop was right here at home: Toronto, this past Saturday, March 4th.

FreshBooks HQ was buzzing as some of the city’s young female leaders attended the Dream, Girl screening. Following the screening, they were given the chance to participate in a Q&A session with Erin—the creator herself—as well as sit-in on a panel with her and other Toronto-based female entrepreneurs. Here’s a sneak peek of how it all went down:
