Law.com published an article about FreshBooks today called: “Is FreshBooks a Friendly Billing Alternative?” It’s quite a thorough account by Charles Hartley who has been using FreshBooks for about a year now. What I find interesting about it is how Charles — a lawyer by trade — recognizes that he is in the “practice of law, not [the] business of law.” He uses FreshBooks so he can focus on practicing law as opposed to getting caught up in the details of running his practice.
It’s easy for entrepreneurs to get distracted by the details of running their business. It’s great to see Charles is too smart for that — he uses FreshBooks.
