If you’re one of the millions of people who have the courage and creativity to run your own small business, this is your week in the U.S.

Each year since 1963, the United States Small Business Administration celebrates the contributions of small businesses with a week filled with seminars and speeches. National Small Business Week this year is May 12 – 16 in the U.S.

According to Google, approximately 543,000 new businesses get started each month. And speaking of Google, they are offering a promotional code worth $20 for Helpouts in areas like online advertising, branding and web design to people who join the Google Business Community on Google+ between May 12 – 16.
