Can I enter time in hours and minutes instead of decimal places?

In FreshBooks, you can track time easily and Invoice Clients based on that time. You have the choice of using a timer, or you can enter your hours manually as a decimal of an hour, or in an hours:minutes format.

To Track Time

  1. Head to the Time Tracking tab. You’ll be on the Timesheet view
  2. Select a Project and a Task
  3. In the Hours box, enter your time
  4. Click the Log Hours button.

You have the choice to log your hours using a decimal (for example, 3.5 = 3 hours, 30 minutes) OR using hours:minutes. To do this, simply use a colon (:) instead of a period. 3:30 would get entered as 3 hours, 30 minutes:
