The Android app won’t authenticate on my device when I try to log in. What do I do?

The most common reason for authentication problems is browser-related. The login process on Android will redirect you to on a web browser, where you can enter your username and password and get synced up to FreshBooks (we use OAuth, which is an open standard for authorization).

If you run into a problem or error message, make sure that you have the most recent version of Google Chrome or FireFox installed your device. You can download the most recent updates for your browser from the Google Play store.

We do not recommend using other browsers (i.e. Opera, Internet Explorer, Safari) to log in to the FreshBooks app on your Android device.
