The new plan pricing is as follows:
On USD plans,
• Lite plans will be $23/month or $248.40/year
• Plus plans will be $43/month or $464.40/year
• Premium plans will be $70/month or $756.00/year
On CAD plans,
• Lite plans will be $26/month or $280.80/year
• Plus plans will be $42/month or $453.60/year
• Premium plans will be $72/month or $777.60/year
On GBP plans,
• Lite plans will be £16/month or £172.80/year
• Plus plans will be £30/month or £324.00/year
• Premium plans remain £42/month or £453.60/year
On AUD plans,
• Lite plans will be $29/month or $313.20/year
• Plus plans will be $43/month or $464.40/year
• Premium plans remain $60/month or $648.00/year
On EUR plans,
• Lite plans will be €16/month or €172.80/year
• Plus plans will be €30/month or €324.00/year
• Premium plans remain €50/month or €540.00/year
All yearly plans include a 10% discount.

No. There is no price increase for Advanced Payments (Virtual Terminal).

If you have a promotional discount on your account, you’ll retain that percentage discount. However, starting March 5, 2026, your base plan price will change, and we’ll apply your discount to the new price.

We know not all businesses have the same needs at the same time. Some businesses may not use features now, but with growth and change, they may find them useful down the road. Our pricing plans and features are designed to support you through all the stages of your business’s growth.
Our pricing plans are informed through customer feedback and are structured to support how our customers manage and run their businesses.
Your clients' account prices will increase, and the change will appear on your bill.
As the billing owner, you’ll be the only one to receive price change notifications from FreshBooks, and you can share these changes with your clients as needed.
If your price is changing, FreshBooks will send you an email with the details at least 30 days before the billing date when the new price takes effect.
All price increases for current customers will take place starting after March 5, 2026 (depending on the billing cycle).
Current customers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of their price increase.
Price changes aren’t set to a regular schedule. If your price changes in the future, you’ll always receive notice well in advance of any changes to your account.
If you live abroad and a local currency is available, you have the option to call Support to migrate to your local in-market plan in the local currency.
If you live abroad and your local currency is not supported by FreshBooks, your plan in USD will increase.
FreshBooks supports the following currencies: USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD, NZD, SGD, and ZAR.
- If you upgrade to a paid monthly plan before January 27, 2026, you will receive the current price for your first billing cycle, and the new price will take effect for future cycles. If you upgrade to a paid yearly plan before January 27, 2026, you will lock in the current yearly price for the next year. If you upgrade to a paid monthly or yearly plan after January 27, 2026, your first and all future bills will be at the new price.
If you upgraded to a monthly plan before January 27, 2026, you will receive the current price for your first bill cycle, and the new price will take effect for future cycles.
If you upgraded to an annual plan before January 27, 2025, you have locked in your current price until your next payment date.
If you’re currently on a monthly plan but want to switch to yearly, follow these instructions to access your billing details and make the switch before January 27, 2026.
Yes. All discounts will be applied to the new pricing as well.
If you're billed through Apple or Google Play, you'll get an in-app notification before anything changes. You're in control — you can review the new price and cancel anytime if it's not the right fit.
Mobile plans are not eligible for discounts. If you signed up for FreshBooks through your mobile device through the Apple Store or Google Play Store and would like to discuss your plan, please contact our Support team.
