1. Eligibility

These offers are available exclusively to active FreshBooks customers who attend a FreshBooks “Small Talk” community event during the Offer Period.

Offer 1 Terms & Conditions: This offer is available exclusively to active FreshBooks customers who purchase a new annual or monthly subscription to FreshBooks Payroll powered by Gusto after attending a Small Talk event. To redeem this offer, eligible customers must add FreshBooks Payroll to their active FreshBooks account by December 31, 2026, and successfully run their first payroll by January 31, 2027.

Eligible customers will receive their first four (4) consecutive months of the Payroll base subscription fee ($40/month) free. The per-employee fee of $6 per added payroll team member per month is excluded from this promotion and will be billed monthly starting from the first month of enrollment. Starting in month five (5), the base subscription will automatically be billed at the standard monthly rate of $40 per month.

Offer valid for new Payroll customers only; existing or returning FreshBooks Payroll customers are not eligible. This promotion may be combined with Offer 2 (below), but cannot be combined with any other discounts, free trials, or partner offers. Customers must maintain an active FreshBooks subscription and Payroll subscription to remain eligible. If either subscription is canceled during the Offer Period, the discount ends immediately. Prepaid Payroll subscription fees are non-refundable, and no refunds or credits will be provided for unused months or for the value of the promotional discount. FreshBooks reserves the right to modify or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice.

Offer 2 Terms & Conditions: This offer is available exclusively to active FreshBooks customers who enable FreshBooks Payments powered by Stripe after attending a Small Talk event. To redeem this offer, eligible customers must add FreshBooks Payments to their active FreshBooks account by December 31, 2026. The associated Stripe account must be set up in the United States of America.

In order to participate in this offer, eligible customers must send at least one (1) payments-enabled invoice from FreshBooks which meets all of the following conditions within the first 30 days after enabling FreshBooks Payments powered by Stripe: (i) the invoice(s) must be sent to a client from within the FreshBooks platform; (ii) the invoice(s) must have FreshBooks Payments enabled, and payment received from client must be made using that same payment gateway; and (iii) the invoice must be paid with one of the payment methods outlined in the chart below under Eligible Transactions and Fees (“Eligible Transactions”)

Eligible customers will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $150.00 USD, per customer, in aggregate reimbursements for all Eligible Transactions set out in section 8 below that meet the Redemption requirements set out in section 4 below. Reimbursed fees will be credited to the eligible customer’s Stripe account on a rolling basis, generally within ten (10) business days after fees are incurred on Eligible Transactions. Reimbursements are issued on an individual transaction basis, rather than as a single lump-sum payment, until the maximum reimbursement amount of $150 is reached.

Eligible customers will receive one or both of the Small Talk Offers by registering for and attending a Small Talk community event between September 17, 2026, and December 31, 2026, provided they also satisfy the applicable offer-specific terms.
